    Bridge Cottage is a family run bed and breakfast on the outskirts of Peterborough. We offer 2 double bedded rooms (1 en suite) and a twin en suite.

    We are out in the countryside and offer fantastic views seen from the garden with the river running through. Excellent facilities (broadband) for businessmen and weekenders for relaxing.

    You can try one of our lovely village pubs and restaurants that are in every surrounding village to Woodnewton – The Kings Head at Apethorpe is 2 miles to the west, the Falcon at Fotheringhay is 2 miles towards Oundle and The Shuckborough is in the village of Southwick, also only 2 miles away – something for everyone! Even a fantastic coffee house in Oundle known as "BEANS" – well known to all the local fraternity, situated in the centre of Oundle for somewhere to put your feet up after a long walk.

    In the morning you will be woken to the smell of a traditional Northamptonshire breakfast – anything of your choice really – usually a Full English Breakfast – made with the finest local ingredients.

    From the A1 south, take the Peterborough exit, follow the A605 signposted Northampton and Oundle. Four miles along, take a right at the 1st roundabout to Fotheringhay, follow through the village onto Woodnewton. We are the first house on the left.
