| How To Find Us Abbingdon Guest House is situated in Bootham Crescent, a popular tourist area of York and is easily reached by car or on foot. By Road: From the A1/M1 northbound take the A64 towards York and after several miles take the exit for the A1237 (York outer ring road) towards York. At the top of the slip road there is a roundabout and you take the second exit which is the A1237 towards York. Go straight across the next three roundabouts (the last of these is prior to crossing the railway line) until the fourth roundabout where you need to turn right (third exit) onto the A19 towards York. Landmark: Park & Ride entrance should be on your right-hand-side. Continue straight ahead towards York through several sets of traffic lights and shortly after passing underneath a footbridge spanning the road, Bootham Crescent is the second road on the left. The Abbingdon (Bootham Crescent) is down the bottom on the right-hand-side. From the A1 southbound: Take the A59 towards York. After passing the 'Welcome To York' sign on your left, at the next roundabout turn left onto the York outer ring road, the A1237. Continue straight ahead on the A1237 up to the second roundabout. Turn right at this roundabout (third exit) onto the A19 towards York. Landmark: Park & Ride entrance should be on your right-hand-side. Continue straight ahead towards York through several sets of traffic lights and shortly after passing underneath a footbridge spanning the road, Bootham Crescent is the second road on the left. The Abbingdon (60 Bootham Crescent) is down the bottom on the right-hand-side. By Foot from the railway station: If arriving by train, turn left outside main station entrance and walk past The Royal York Hotel (on left) up to main traffic lights. Keep walking ahead along the pavement which passes under an arch of the city walls. Bear left at next traffic lights and walk across the bridge over the River Ouse. Ahead in the distance you'll see York Minster. After crossing the river, at the next traffic lights turn left onto 'St Leonard's Place'. Continue forward passing the 'Theatre Royal' on your right-hand-side and at the next set of traffic lights turn left into 'Bootham'.
