    The Kingsmere Guest House is a quiet, friendly, family run guest house and being established for over 18 years we are competent to satisfy all our guests requirements.

    All the rooms are decorated to a very high standard with TV/Video/Digi Box, tea and coffee making facilities, mini fridge, all en suite or private facility. Prices include an English or continental breakfast to suit all dietary needs.

    We are centrally located to town centre and the beach, parks, Roman Fort, funfair, amusement arcades, laser quest, ten pin bowling, cinema / theatre and market are all within walking distance.

    South Shields boasts an excellent variety of restaurants, bars and nightclubs to suit all ages,

    The beautiful North East coastline is second to none with spectacular views and tranquil bays.

    Newcastle and Historic Durham are only a short train ride away.

    A194 to town centre, follow directions to coast/sea front, turn left off Ocean Road onto Roman Road turn second right onto Urfa Terrace (a continuation of Fairles Street). We are mid terrace on left, signpost in garden.

    By Bus:
    Metro or on foot; head to King Street, continue to Ocean Road and follow directions above.
