Situated just 3 miles north of the market town of Bourne, over looking fields and woodland where a wide variety of flora and fauna can be observed
Ideally situated for Grimsthorpe Castle, Bourne, Stamford, Burghley Horse Trials, the Spalding Flower Festival, Shakespeare at Tolthorpe Hall, the Deepings, Peterborough, Rutland Water, Barnsdale and many other events and attractions.
We offer high quality accommodation in this quiet and peaceful hamlet in Lincolnshire, to the leisure seeking tourist, the cyclist, the rambler and the professional person wishing to relax after a busy working day.
At Maycroft Cottage, quality is assured. This is reflected in being awarded a rating of 4 Stars, by Quality in Tourism. Accommodation consists of double and single/twin rooms with a private bathroom for the sole use of guests. Rooms have coloured digital television and radio, Video/DVD, drink making facilities, alarm clocks and hairdryers. Ironing facilities are available.
There is off road parking, and guests can enjoy the private secluded garden to the rear.
Walkers and Cyclists are welcome with secure lockup and clothes drying facilities available upon request.
At present we serve only breakfast, using when possible local produce, including homemade bread and preserves. Packed lunches can be provided by prior arrangement and, special diets are catered for.
There is a no smoking policy throughout the premises and, in consideration for other guests, we do not accept pets. Registered Assisted Dogs are exempt from this ruling.

All our rooms are furnished to a high standard, where guests can relax and unwind, whilst enjoying the peaceful tranquillity of this quiet location.
For the business professional wishing to work during the evening there are ample power points for laptop computers, with work-space and additional desk lamps in all rooms. Internet access is available upon request.
In each room there is a comprehensive list of local eating establishments, many giving discounts for those staying at Maycroft Cottage.
Our knowledge of the area is broad and we keep an up to date selection of local tourist attraction brochures. However in the unlikely event that we are unable to answer your questions or queries, we know of someone who can.
