    Andy and Hynal warmly welcome you to Tigh Bhan, a charming refurbished cottage set in half an acre of mature gardens.

    It is located in a quiet lane that leads to the enchanting Cuil Bay, with its panoramic views and stunning sunsets.

    Cuil Bay, a long shore of meadows and sea grasses facing across Loch Linnhe to the remote hills of Morven, is just five minutes stroll from Tigh Bhan and is home to seals, otters and a wide variety of sea birds such as herons, oyster catchers, terns, great northern divers and cormorants; Eagles and buzzards are also seen here.

    Conveniently situated in the village of Duror, between Fort William, Glencoe and Oban, Tigh Bhan makes an ideal base to explore the area and sample the activities it has to offer, including hill walking, mountain biking, skiing, sailing, mountain climbing and golf; for people who enjoy photography, this is a perfect area with its dramatic scenery and abundance of wildlife.

    Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the garden, with its wealth of wildlife and beyond that Loch Linnhe.

    Directions
    Tigh Bhan is located in Duror of Appin, Argyll, and about half way between Fort William and Oban just off the A828, down towards Cuil Bay.

    How to Find us:
    From the North: Take the A82 south from Fort William for about 12 miles over the bridge at South Ballachulish, then at the roundabout take the A828 Oban road for 5 miles until you come to Duror, past the sign for the Stewart Hotel, past the small shop on the right hand side, then take the next right sign post for Cuil, Tigh Bhan is a further 200 metres on the right.

    From the South: (Glasgow) take the A82 North, the Loch Lomond road, then on to Crianlarich, continue on the A82 to Glencoe then past Ballachulish, at the roundabout take the A828 Oban road for 5 miles until you arrive at Duror, past the sign for the Stewart Hotel, past the small shop on the right hand side then take the next right sign post for Cuil, Tigh Bhan is 200 metres on the right.

    From Oban: Take the A85 to Connel then onto the A828, past the sea life centre, on to Castle Stalker, then 4miles on you come to Duror, past the cemetery on the left, past the Stewart Hotel sign, then turn left at the sign post for Cuil, Tigh Bhan is 200 metres on the right.
