    Douglas and Agnes would like to welcome you to their home in the heart of the Central Borders. We are 7 miles from Melrose, Selkirk and Hawick and just an hour from Edinburgh and Newcastle Airports.

    We are conveniently located for a great many attractions whatever your interests may be.
    There are grand houses and areas of historical interest.
    Activities to entice the very active or for those with a more leisurely pace in mind.
    There are a whole range of crafts, pursuits and entertainments which highlights the creativity and talent of the Borders.
    We are local people and are able to offer you the information you need to tailor you holiday to your own interests.

    Easter Cottage is approx 350 years old, wth beamed ceilings in some rooms. We have a large mature garden where you are welcome to relax if you wish. All our rooms are comfortable and spacious. The double room is en-suite with power shower and is situated on the ground floor making it convenient for the less able.

    The family room is approximately ten metres long divided by a stone chimney breast which offers some privacy. Breakfast can be flexible to suit the individual in terms of time and content. We provide fresh local produce and home made preserves. In the bedrooms you will find flasks of fresh spring water from our own well.
    All rooms have free access to our wireless internet connection and we can provide a network card for laptops if required.

    Two pubs in the village provide dinners and refreshments within short walking distance or travel a short distance to nearby towns for a wider range of excellent local cuisine.

    We have a gun cabinet for shooting parties. We can organise shooting and fishing localy if required.

    Pricing and Opening Times
    Seasons Open: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.

    Our rates are from £27.50 - £35.00 per person per night

    We are open all year round including Xmas and New Year.

    Disabled Facilities: There are no disabled facilities. While we would not say we have disabled facilities we do have a ground floor bedroom which is suitable for people with limited mobility.
