    Coed Mamgu is a family run guest house offering comfortable accommodation with a warm welcome. The usual facilities such as TVs and tea and coffee making facilities in each room. Adjacent to the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal we offer quiet relaxing relaxing surrounding with lovely areas to walk. The main attraction being the closeness to the Cwmcarn Forest Drive, ideal for picnics and hill walking or fishing, the Mountain Biking Centre provides the focal point for a exilarating challenge, just a kilometer from the property.

    We provide secure storage for your bikes and washing and drying facilities if required.

    Car parking outside the property, with the buses and trains stops a short distance away makes this an ideal location to visit Cardiff and Newport or the Brecon Beacons. The lovely Wye Valley is about 20mins away or travel into England in 20mins over the Severn Bridge.

    We welcome contractors, tourists and short break holidays and provide a good wholesome breakfast to start your stay off right!

    We are open 365 days of the Year to provide a warm welcome for your stay. Bookings for weekends advisable due to demand.

    Directions
    From the M4 junction 28 take the A467 and follow the signs for Brynmawr at the Full Moon roundabout take the 3rd exit and follow the signs for the Forest Drive. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit and follow the signs to Pontywaun passing the Castle Inn and the Philanthropic Inn about 100 yards on just by the telephone box turn left into Gelli Unig Road continue along the road bearing right at the junction into Mount Pleasant Terrace about 500 yards onyou will find Coed Mamgu Guest House with the parking area directly outside.
