    Built over 400 years ago and still retaining many original features, Rose Cottage is situated in the heart of Bowness, one of the Lake Districts liveliest and most beautiful villages.

    We have 5 cosy and comfortable en-suite rooms - all with complimentary beverages, toiletries, Colour TV and Trouser Press
    (We also have a Camp Bed and Cot if needed).

    Breakfast is at the very reasonable time of 9.00am - 9.30am and we are proud to serve a good hearty breakfast using fresh local ingredients where possible.

    Parking is at the Rayrigg Car Park, approximately 2 minutes away, for which we provide you with Parking Permits. (£10.00 refundable deposit is required for these upon arrival.)
    We have small enclosed parking on site suitable for motorbikes or bicycles.
    Please note Bowness is very lively day and night, especially at weekends!

    We are happy to help with information on walks, restaurants, night-life and if you are celebrating a special occasion we would be more than pleased to arrange flowers and/or champagne to be delivered to your room.

    1st March - 1st June:
    Double Room (max 2 people): Sun - Thurs £60.00. Fri-Sat £65.00
    Family Room (max 3 people): Sun - Thurs £80.00. Fri-Sat £85.00
    Single occupancy of double room: Sun - Thurs £40.00. Fri-Sat £45.00

    1st June - 1st November:
    Double Room (max 2 people): £70.00.
    Family room (max 3 people): £90.00.
    Single occupancy of double room: £50.00.
    A deposit of £10.00 per person will be charged at time of booking

    Bank Holidays:
    Double room (max 2 people): £75.00.
    Family room (max 3 people): £95.00.
    Single occupancy of double room: £65.00.

    Open all year apart from Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

    Directions
    Arriving from Windermere:
    Go straight over the mini roundabout passing Tesco Express & at Costa Coffee turn right. We are on the corner by the Post Office and opposite the Church.

    Arriving from Newby Bridge direction:
    Follow the road past the Bay, and we are the 2nd road on the left,just after the Church and before the new development of shops and apartments. The Lake is literally 1 minute walk away
