    Elim House is a warm, friendly & peaceful, non-smoking B&B set in the heart of the English Lake District and complete with award winning garden. A true home from home, Steve & Judith cater for all but especially couples who are wanting a quiet break.

    All rooms are en-suite, some have four poster beds and 1 even has a superking size bed for those who like plenty of room. We do not accept single sex parties and smokers are welcome to smoke in the garden but not in the house.
    We have a minimum 2 night stay policy at weekends and 3 night minimum at Bank holidays.

    We have both limited private parking and on-street parking with no restrictions and are just a 7 minute walk to the lake.

    From Windermere, follow the signs for Bowness & Lake, take the second road on the left after the police station (downhill) or third road on right from the cinema (uphill). Elim house is the 1st house on the left on Biskey Howe Road.(please do not confuse us with Elim Lodge or Elim Bank!)

    Windermere station is 1.1 mile from Elim House approx. 20 mins walk or a short taxi ride. Follow downhill instructions.
