Wicksteed Park sited in 147 acres of landscaped English countryside and the only leisure park in the UK which offers the elements of a country and theme park in one.
There are three distinct ride areas comprising in total 35 rides and attractions that are tried and tested traditional and modern family favourites. 
The fairground sited near to one of the largest free playgrounds in the UK and attracts our younger visitors including a traditional carousel, double pirate ship, jumping tower and unique 'Rockin tug'.
In the arena we offer the racing cars, paratrooper and roller coaster. Water based attractions offering a variety of water play are sited at the Lakeside including the only Nautic jets in the UK, bumper boats, canoeing, rowing, the world famous water chute designed and built by Charles Wicksteed in 1926 and Mr Wicksteed's Veteran cars. 
We will be introducing new menus and new catering outlets for 2007, sweets, gifts and craft shops. Function rooms are available and can cater for up to seven hundred for a sit down meal, a civil wedding licence is also held.
The Wicksteed Railway continues to be one of the Park's major attractions carrying in excess of 250,000 passengers ayear making it the busiest commercial narrow gauge railway in the UK. Throughout the weekend of July 14 & 15 the Park will be staging its 3rd annual Steam Festival. 
Now offering Caravan and Camping facilities you could easily spend a week at Wicksteed Park.
Lost Children: Public address announcements can be made and there is CCTV around the park.
First Aid: A nurse is on duty at the First Aid Centre situated behind the Double Pirate Ship.
Lost Property/Drying Room: In the first aid centre.
Baby Changing: In all toilets (ladies) and at the First Aid Centre.
Dogs: are admitted but must be kept on a lead. If any animal is found in distress the RSPCA will be called.
Tickets or Wristbands: Buy a wristband and go on as many rides as you like or purchase tickets to split amongst yourselves.
