Wicksteed Park is situated in 147 acres of landscaped English countryside and offers the elements of a country and theme park in one.
There are three distinct ride areas comprising in total 35 rides and attractions that are tried and tested traditional and modern family favourites.
The Fairground sited near to one of the largest free playgrounds in the UK and attracts our younger visitors includes a traditional Carousel, Double Pirate Ship, Jumping Tower and unique 'Rockin Tug'.
In the Arena we offer the Log Flume, Racing Cars, Paratrooper and Roller Coaster. Water based attractions offering a variety of water play are sited at the Lakeside including the Nautic Jets, Bumper Boats, Canoes, Row Boats, the world famous Water Chute designed and
built by Charles Wicksteed in 1926 and Mr Wicksteed's Veteran cars.
There are a number of different food outlets around the park and also a gift shop to get a souvenir of your visit. Function rooms are available for hire and can cater for up to seven hundred for a sit down meal. A civil wedding licence is also held.
The Wicksteed Railway continues to be one of the Park's major attractions carrying in excess of 250,000 passengers a year making it the busiest commercial narrow gauge railway in the UK. On 11th and 12th July, the Park will be staging its 5th annual Steam Weekend.
