Trotters World of Animals is home to hundreds of friendly animals including traditional favourites, endangered species, birds of prey and reptiles. A great deal is under cover so rain need not spoil your visit.
Our exotic animals such as ringtailed lemurs, wallabies and racoons and the Gibbon family, Brian, Sooty, Joseph, Noel, Robin and a new baby delight the crowds with their antics. From 2002 we will have rough coated lemurs, lechwe antelope, red, fallow and sika deer and guanaco.
Meet some of our reptile friends at daily presentations by our expert reptile handler when you can safely
handle snakes and lizards both large and small, including Monty our friendly Giant Python.
Handling animals is actively encouraged at Trotters, especially during our special audience participation events held throughout the day. Delight in hugging a bunny or bottle feeding a baby goat.
Imagine the thrill of having a hawk, eagle or owl fly close by. Spectacular flying displays at our Birds of Prey Centre are your chance to experience just that. The Centre now features the only breeding pairs of Golden Eagles and Cara Cara in the North West.
All year round the animals need feeding and exercising -
they actually miss the summer crowds - so why not come and say hello to your favourite one winter weekend? A full programme of indoor activities continues during our winter season and at Christmas the Park takes on a festive theme with visits from Santa.
