With huge undercover areas, internationally acclaimed, award winning exhibitions, exciting rides, family shows, live entertainment and glorious gardens Flambards remains - the Best day of the week, whatever the weather.
Top attraction is the internationally acclaimed Victorian Village, a life-size re-creation of a lamp-lit village with more than 50 shops, traders and homes, all equipped with thousands of genuine artefacts. Britain in the Blitz is a life-size re-creation of a World War II blitzed street which has never been equalled. The War Galleries, early aviation pioneers, wedding fashions and the famed Bovril advertising are other intriguing exhibitions.
With the best family thrill rides in Cornwall dare the fantastic 'Extreme Force', the mighty 'Thunderbolt', the 'Hornet' rollercoaster, the 'Log Flume' and the 'Ballon Race' rides, have a go on the Flambards Formula Circuit. And this year, Flambards has got a whole lot better with the 'Rocking Tug' and a fantastic traditional carousel.
Test your skills in the CCTV Weather Forecasting studio, then head outside to Ferdi's Funland where the 'Shuttle' and the 'Children's Eye' soars high above the Park, and the Animal Express and other rides are especially designed for children. Afterwards, they can let-off steam in the Sealegs Safari or the Cool Zone, challenge the Wobbly Bridges or see birds of prey and hold spiders, snakes and lizards in the Really Wild Experience.
The younger visitors will love The Clowns Orchestra and Hi-Hat Hector in the Tots Playzone; close by, visit the timeless Gus Honeybun and explore his burrow.
The secret of Flambards appeal is its huge variety; there is just so much to do and see and so many places where the whole family can enjoy themselves together. With live entertainment and award winning gardens, super family rides and exhibitions par-excellence, plus a wide choice of picnic areas, catering and gift shops, every visitor can be confident of a superb value for money day out in 2007.
