The Royal Museum covers life, the universe and beyond. With international collections of decorative arts, science and industry, archaeology and the natural world, there really is something for everyone.

Discover wonderful objects from around the globe and marvellous natural history exhibits. The Main Hall, decorated with fountains and fishponds, is the focal point of the building. From there explore thirty six galleries housing outstanding international collections of decorative arts, science and industry, archaeology and the natural world. A unique research collection of over 300,000 volumes of books, periodicals and manuscripts, many of national importance, is available for public consultation in our reading room.
