Step back in time at this completely restored printing works and see how printing was done at the beginning of the 20th Century. The buildings contain an office, paper store with reconstructed water-wheel, composing and press rooms. Visitors can discover the secrets of the printing works from archive based posters, by watching the printer at work and by trying typesetting by hand. Many historic items and photographs on display also give a fascinating insight into this small Borders town.
