The Visitor Centre contains a pictorial history of Barmouth Lifeboat Station plus some artefacts pertaining to the lifeboats. There are also some pictures of Barmouth in Victorian times.
A viewing gallery for Barmouth's Mersey class lifeboat has been installed.The Visitor Centre also houses the RNLI souvenir and gift shop.
Tours of the Boathouse are available with 14 days notice, requests should be addressed to the Launching Operations Manager (L.O.M.) at the Boathouse.

| The museum is situated within the visitor centre which can be found on the promenade attached to the lifeboat station. The shop and viewing gallery are situated within the Lifeboat Station on the promenade in Barmouth. |
