Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, in Kent, is a 500 acre safari adventure.
Embark on a unique journey, getting up close to iconic wildlife while learning about the threats they face.
Home to over 500 rare and endangered animals including giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, elephants, tigers and the largest breeding herd of black rhino outside of Africa.
Port Lympne, with its sister park, Howletts, was set up by the late John Aspinall as a centre to protect and breed threatened species, with a view to returning them to the wild wherever possible.

Both parks are open every day except Christmas Day.Summer 2nd April - 30th october: 10.00am - 6.30pm (last admission 3.00pm). Winter from 31st October: 10.00am - 5.00pm (last admission 1.00pm). We recommend that you allow between 4 and 5 hours to fully enjoy the park. |

By Road Port Lympne is located at Lympne, near Ashford in Kent. Leave the M20 at junction 11 and the Park is situated just 5 minutes away. Look for the brown tourist signs. Plenty of free parking. By Rail Just over an hour from London Charing Cross or Victoria to Ashford station. The Park is then only a 20 minute bus ride away. By Bus Stagecoach East Kent Number 10 bus runs between Ashford and Folkestone via the Park. For times Phone +44 (0)1233 620 342. By Sea The Park is easily reached from the channel ports and terminals. Le Shuttle - The Park is only 10 minutes drive from the terminal at Folkestone. Eurostar Passengers alighting at Ashford International can take a local number 10 Stagecoach bus to the Park's main entrance. |
