A Full Day of Family Fun at Pennywell
Treat your family to the very best with a full day of hands on animal action at Pennywell Farm. Home of the half hourly activity and with up to 20 hands on activities, shows and displays every day, all included in the admission price, you won't waste a single minute. There's something new every half hour - listen for the bell!
There are hungry lambs and goat kids to bottle feed, ferrets to race, puppet shows, sing-a-longs, hedgehogs to meet, ponds to explore, fantastic entertainers every day during the Devon school holidays and a whole host of hands on animal activities.
All the Pennywell animals love to be cuddled - come and find your favourite! Shire horses, Boxer and Fusilier, the gentle giants of the farmyard are waiting to meet you as are Dancer and Prancer the reindeer, all the way from the North Pole. Cuddle the pets, talk to the alpacas and make friends with more than 150 friendly animals in their farmyard home. Pennywell Farm is also the home of the world famous Pennywell Miniature Pigs.
There are plenty of rides for all the family. The Red Rocket ride launches from the Farmyard daily and it's more fun that you would ever think possible using tractor power. There is also the Rainbow Railway, Tractor and Trailer ride and for children over 8 and adults there are the Run Rabbit Ride Go Carts.
Enjoy Noah's Barn with friendly animal encounters and lots of undercover fun. You can wander into the pens and experience the animals close up - they are always happy to meet you.
Pennywell is just off the A38 near Buckfastleigh, just 20 miles from Plymouth and Exeter and only 12 miles from Torbay. Open daily 10am - 5pm, 7 days a week.
