Number 1 was the first house to be built in the Royal Crescent, John Wood's
masterpiece of Palladian design.
The magnificently restored and authentically furnished town house creates a wonderful picture of fashionable life in 18th century Bath, including a superbly appointed dining room, an elegant drawing room, a deliciously feminine bedroom and a bustling Georgian kitchen.
Visitors can see a grand town house of the late 18th Century with authentic furniture, paintings and carpets.
On the ground floor are the Study and Dining Room and on the first floor a lady's Bedroom and Drawing Room. In the Basement is a period Kitchen and a museum shop.
