Ride through history on Vintage Trams from all over the world. They run every few minutes to take you through a Period Street, beneath the elegant Bowes-Lyon Bridge, and on to open countryside with views that take your breath away. You'll love it! - from a pink-knuckle ride to a lazy day, we've got what it takes to make a Great Day Out whatever your age. Relax with us, explore technology, experience the past, taste the romantic. We can beat the Great British Weather here too, with over 30,000 sq. ft of indoor attractions to explore! We give you a genuine old penny (or halfpenny for the children) on arrival! Use this to 'pay' for your first Tram ride. You'll get an all-day ticket in return to sample travel on different Vintage Trams as often as you like!Additional Information:

  • Schools activity packs supporting Key stage I and 2

  • Dogs (on leads) are welcome to enjoy your visit with you

  • Visual difficulties? - we have Braille Guide Books plus text versions for sighted companions

  • Hearing problems? - we have staff trained in assisting people who are deaf or hard of hearing

  • Mobility difficulties? - there is wheelchair access to all visitor facilities and we have specially adapted a Tram to lift and carry people in wheelchairs (please try to book in advance to help us to plan our tram service and our volunteer crews).
