The award winning National Space Centre is the UK's largest attraction dedicated to space. From the minute you catch sight of the Space Centre's futuristic Rocket Tower, you'll be treated to hours of breathtaking discovery and interactive fun.
Home to the UK’s largest 360° planetarium, the National Space Centre is a hands-on, interactive journey through six stunning galleries, amazing rocket tower, and S.I.M ride that offers an experience that is out of this world.
Visit Project Apollo: The lunar landings and re-live the excitement of the 1960’s space race, featuring original film footage, artefacts and memorabilia. Pose for your photo on the lunar surface of the moon and try your hand at landing your own Eagle space craft.

Visiting the centre also allows you to make your ticket valid for a whole year allowing you come back again and again at no extra cost.

By Road: The National Space Centre is located just off the A6, two miles north of Leicester City Centre, midway between Leicester's inner and outer ring roads. Brown road signs with a distinctive rocket logo will direct you from the arterial routes around Leicester. By Train: East Midland Trains and Cross Country Trains serve Leicester Station. From here you can either take a bus or a taxi to the National Space Centre. First bus 54 runs every 10 minutes Monday to Saturday and every 20 minutes on Sunday from Charles Street, a short walk from the station. |
