The award winning National Space Centre is the UK's largest attraction dedicated to space. From the minute you catch sight of the Space Centre's futuristic Rocket Tower, you'll be treated to hours of breathtaking discovery and interactive fun.

Think you'll never see the whole universe close-up? Then take a seat in our high-tech full domed Space Theatre and prepare to be amazed.

Human Spaceflight: Lunar Base 2025 is the new fantastic experience at the National Space Centre. Become an astronaut! Interactive exhibits test your mental and physical ability to survive in deep space. Blast off on a stunning 3D SIM journey to the ice moon Europa.

The National Space Centre hosts many exciting weekend events. p> In 2007 these include a Sci-fi Weekend, Star Wars Weekend, lots of school holiday specials and many more… see the website for full details.

    Directions
    By Car: Just off the A6 two miles north of Leicester City Centre. Brown signs from the M1 (junctions21,21a,22) and all arterial routes around Leicester.
    By Train:Midland Mainline and Central Trains serve Leicester station then Bus route 54.
    By Bus: Bus route 54 serves Leicester Station, City Centre, St Margarets Bus Station.
