Built in the 13th century to protect the island against the French, this dramatic castle towers over the harbour at Gorey. One of the best preserved medieval castles in Europe, Mont Orgueil is an imposing sight commanding some of the best views of Jersey's east coast. With tableaux and regular guided tours the castle's rich history is brought to life for all who visit.
