During 2007 and early 2008, McManus will be closed to the public as it undergoes an exciting extensive redevelopment project, to transform the facility into a museum and art gallery for the 21st century.

The facility will feature new displays, cafe and retail area, while still retaining the original Gothic architecture of the building. A Life-long Learning suite and hands-on activities incorporating the latest technology will also enhance the overall visitor experience.
