Marsh Mill is a beautifully restored Grade II listed post mill, the tallest in Europe, standing at over seventy feet. Visitors can experience the turning of the sails and the intricate engineering of the giant cogs and grindstones. You can meet the miller and find out about the huge restoration project undertaken to restore Marsh Mill almost to original working order.
The mill's own exhibition room, the Kiln House Gallery, has social history exhibitions through the year and the mill stands in a complex of small shops, specialising in crafts and memorabilia.
Special opening hours for groups of ten or more can be arranged - your group could even meet Queen Victoria!
