Maeldune Heritage Centre |
Maeldune Heritage Centre is the home of the 42 foot Maldon embroidery which celebrates the 1000th anniversary of the Battle of Maldon. It was designed by Humphrey Spender to depict Maldon's history from the Battle of Maldon in 991 to its anniversay in 1991.
The centre also houses art exhibitions, historical displays, a photographic archive and a gift shop.
