This charming house, once two regency cottages, was the home of romantic poet John Keats from 1818 until 1820. During this period he wrote some of his finest poetry including 'Ode to a Nightingale' which was written in the surrounding garden. The house contains books, manuscripts and memorabilia associated with Keats, his fiancee Fanny Brawne and his circle of friends.
Keats House has no refreshment facilities but there are a number of cafes and pubs nearby. There is a small bookshop. Parking in this area is very limited.
