This unique collection of over 30,000 plants has been built up over the years and is well known throughout the world. It features many rare plants from the more arid areas of the world such as USA, Mexico, South America, Africa etc. and the more tropical jungle cactus of Central and South America.
The Garden is attractively landscaped in over 10,000 sq. ft of glasshouses enabling visitors to wander at leisure amongst the many plants. You can see the many unusual forms that the plants have developed, some very small like pebbles, others tall and majestic. There are always many plants in flower and it makes an ideal outing whatever the weather. There is something of interest for everyone. There are many plants for sale.
Although featured on TV and radio and in various gardening magazines the Cactus Garden must be visited to appreciate the full effect of its natural splendour.
