Bristol's Georgian House |

The Georgian House is an exquisite example of a town house of about 1796. The house is part of Robert Adam's masterpiece of urban design, Charlotte Square. It was built by John Pinney, a sugar merchant who owned both land and slaves in the Caribbean.
The house is furnished to illustrate life both above and below stairs. See for yourself the differences between the Pinney family's way of life and that of their servants.
