Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo offers a wealth of fun and excitement for all ages. There is so much to do - sample the many white knuckle thrillers, take a stroll through the breathtaking zoo, be amazed by the six superb family shows or simply enjoy watching your little ones exhaust themselves in Kiddies' Kingdom.
The zoo is home to over 1,000 animals, including African Lions, Giraffes, Rhinoceros, Hippos, Siberian Tigers, Grants Zebras, Bactrian Camels, Monkeys, Sea Lions, Reptiles, Humboldt Penguins, Meerkats and of course, the famous pink flamingos, the largest flock in the country. In the Bird Walk you can see birds of all sizes from ostriches to the tiny finches.
Flamingo Land Theme Park and Zoo definitely is the theme park for those of you who like to be frightened out of their wits. Flamingo Land is home to some of the best white knuckle thrillers in the UK including, Velocity the UK's only motorbike coaster, The Navigator, The Circulator and Cliff Hanger which will blast you 200 feet into the air before plunging you back to earth. New for 2006 is Kumali, this suspended coaster will send you on a journey through over 1000 metres of twists, loops and turns at speeds in excess of 60mph.
As well as stomach-churning white knuckle thrillers, Flamingo Land offers a whole host of wonderful rides and attractions for youngsters to enjoy. These include the Dragon Coaster and Tea-Cup ride in Little Monster's Den of Mischief, as well as the Junior Driving School and high flying Jets. New for 2006 is Muddy Duck Farm, youngsters will be able to drive their very own tractor through the farm where they will be able to see their favourite farmyard animals as well as some themed surprises.
For those of you just too small for the dizzy heights of the Cliff Hanger, there's your very own free falling Frog Hopper. Take a ride on the traditional Carousel or enjoy your train journey around Little Monster's Mischief Mansion where you will come face to face with the resident Little Monsters - Little Mummy, Little Drac and Little Yeti.

| Just off the A169 Malton to Pickering road, the park is very well sign posted. From the South take the A1, A64 and A169, from the North the A19, A170 and A169. There are train stations at nearby Malton and York. |
