Visit the Bug, Pirate Ship and indoor Play Barn and throw yourself down a 28ft Drop Slide! Relax in the Coach House Restaurant and enjoy a slice of homemade cake!
Escot is refreshingly un-commercial and certainly unique! Here you'll find an ark-full of animals with woodland paths, trails and everywhere beautiful flowers, shrubs and magnificent champion trees. The 4,000 Beech Hedge Maze is a real challenge with its five hedge-leaping bridges and stunning central look-out tower. See the birds of prey with their summertime displays and meet our family of Short Clawed Asian otters, Red Squirrels and Wild Boar!
Birds of Prey and Falconry Displays
Meet all our raptors close up, including buzzards and falcons, and put
names and faces to owls and all those mysterious flying creatures that go screech and t'whit t'whoo in the night! If you are brave enough you can even handle the birds! There are falconry displays, with commentary, at 2pm during the summer every day. Please ring for details to avoid disappointment.Otters, Red Squirrels & Wild Boar
Meet our Asian short clawed otters, who are fed at 11.00am and 3.00pm daily. They are especially chatty before mealtimes! Journey through 'Jurassic Pork', home to our 'troupe' of Wild Boar. Enjoy a rare chance to see Britain's only native species of squirrel, the beautiful Red Squirrel. The Wetlands and Waterfowl
Broad and firm paths allow for easy access to the Wetlands. Once the ice ponds for the house and now a specially enhanced area of natural springs and marshes - a haven for insects and pond life of all kinds amid the sedges and rushes - home to a collection of native ducks.Coach House Restaurant
This handsome Grade 1 listed building has been imaginatively transformed to create a stylish setting for a licensed restaurant serving coffees (cappuccinos, lattes etc), cream teas, mouth-watering home-made cakes and desserts as well as a wide range of home-cooked lunches, seven days a week. Children are especially well catered for.| More Pictures | |
