Elgin Cathedral


One of Scotland's most beautiful medieval buildings, Elgin Cathedral is a magnificent ruin, much of the work dates back to the late 13th century. Its many outstanding architectural features include the country's finest octagonal chapter house.

Daily 9.30am to 5.30pm.

1st to 31st October:
Daily 9.30am to 4.30pm.

1st November to 31st March 2009:
Saturday to Wednesday 9.30an - 4.30pm.

Last ticket sold 30 minutes before closing.

Closed 25th & 26th December and 1st & 2nd January.
