Denbigh Museum opened as part of the Denbigh Library, Museum and Gallery in September 1989 to preserve, interpret and research the history and heritage of the town and people of Denbigh.

Themes include: The North Wales Hospital, H.M. Stanley and his contribution to global exploration, the Trefnant Toy Story, and the story of Gwasg gee (the Gee press).

The museum presently has approximately 1,000 items including an extensive medical collection from the former Denbigh Mental Hospital and the Purchas social history collection comprising of costume accessories and ephemera.

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday - 9.30am - 5.00pm.
Saturday 9.30am - 12.30pm.

Free. Groups and societies can be accommodated within the library building for talks and activities.
