The Conservation Centre is currently closed to allow the permanent display to be completely redeveloped. The new interactive exhibition space and working laboratory will be ready for spring 2006. The Conservation Centre is a unique venue where you can find out how we care for our collections. Everything from Roman sculptures to Cold War spacesuits come here to be preserved and restored.
You can learn all about the conservators' arts through fascinating displays and interactive activities, tours and video links. Discover what can happen when science and art meet.p>
