The Collection

Blairs Museum has a stunning collection of fine and decorative art spanning more than 500 years. Highlights include rare protraits of Mary Queen of Scots and the Stuart family, Jacobite memorabilia,sacred silver and gold and beautiful embroidered church textiles. Why not come and discover the secrets of this important collection and enjoy the peaceful surroundings!

The College

Blairs Museum is set in part of the former Blairs College. Blairs was a training school for young students considering a calling to the priesthood. Established in 1829 it closed in 1986. Visit the museum and learn more about the story of the College, the personalities behind it and what life was like for the boys of Blairs!

The Chapel

The beauty of St. Mary's Chapel never fails to make a lasting impression and is most definately worth a visit! Visitors are welcome to absorb the peace and tranquillity of the old College chapel as part of their visit to Blairs Museum. St. Mary's Chapel is still in active use today and continues to serve a lively growing parish.

    Visitors welcome outwith these hours at any time of the year by arrangement at a time to suit you.
