Visit the fascinating hands-on interactive visitor centre and remains of the Roman fort where you become part of Birdoswald's 2000 years of history. The fort is one of the most spectacular locations for a Roman fort on Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site.
Recent archaeological excavations, fort gateways and fort walls can be seen. Walk along a fine stretch of Hadrian's Wall to Harrow Scar Milecastle.
