An extensive museum containing a magnificent assortment of items curious, mysterious, marvellous and common place from the last 200 years.

These include:

  • The Sidney Smith collection of local photographs
  • Welsh Guardsman painted by Rex Whistler for a children's Christmas party
  • The Hardware shop one of several shop displays to be seen in the museum
  • The Victorian Parlour
  • Working print shop

  • Restored Penny Farthing Bicycle
  • Working Blacksmith's Forge and Demonstartion Days

    The museum also has a meeting room that is hireable for small events, meetings or club functions. Educational visits can be booked also evening tours for parties and groups.
    Limited parking is available for museum visitors.
