Explore-At-Bristol is one of Britain's most exciting hands-on science centres. Packed full of more than 300 interactive exhibits and fascinating special exhibitions, Explore offers a fun filled day out for all the family.
Take a trip around the universe in the iconic silver sphere planetarium, join the Live Science team for fun experiments and activities, play virtual volleyball, freeze your shadow, walk through a tornado, or even take a tour around the human brain - there's no end to the fun, scientific discoveries that await.
Situated in the heart of Bristol's redeveloped and thriving Harbourside, Explore is linked to the city centre by public squares filled with specially commissioned artworks, from William Pye's Aquarena water sculpture to Graham Ibbeson's bronze Cary Grant statue. These open spaces are the ideal spot to sit and pass the time of day or the perfect location for corporate entertaining.
Explore-At-Bristol is a registered charity that aims to make science accessible to everyone. Since opening in 2000, it has hosted approaching four million visits and continually strives to make informal science learning available to the widest possible audience.General Information:Café Shop Disabled parking Level site and lifts to all floors Disabled toilet facilities in all venues Wheelchair spaces in the IMAX Theatre and Orange Imaginarium Wheelchairs can be loaned please call in advance Guide dogs welcome Exhibits especially designed to cater for visually impaired visitors Mini loops at the information and ticket desks| More Pictures | |
