This magnificent estate runs along the main ridge of the Chiltern Hills.
There are 5,000 acres of woodlands, commons and chalk downland with a wide variety of wildlife and many splendid walks.
The focal point of the area is the Bridgewater Monument, erected in 1832.
The Visitor Centre is situated next to the Monument.

Tea Room (non NT): 1st January to 1st April: Daily 10.00am - 4.00pm. 2nd April to 31st October: 8.00am - 6.00pm. 1st November 2009 to 31st December 2010: 10.00am - 4.00pm. |
