Archeolink is a multi award winning living history park and visitor attraction, with a central focus on education, participation and fun. You can travel 10,000 years in one day from a Mesolithic camp to a Roman Marching Camp. Indoor and outdoor exhibitions feature hands on activities, workshops and guided tours everyday.

Archaeolink holds special events during the Summer that feature activities like prehistoric cookery, spinning and weaving, metal working, combat displays and even the burning of a Wickerman. This is a dynamic prehistoric experience for all the family, situated in the beautiful countryside of Aberdeenshire in the shadow of the dramatic Bennachie mountain range, the park occupies a central location in the diverse archaeological landscape of North East Scotland.

There are six unique indoor features for you to enjoy. The Circle of Time takes you on a journey back in time, a whirl of images transports you back 7000 years. In the Archaedome you can discover your ancient ancestors, witness stone circle rituals, re-live the Battle of Mons Graupius and learn about the dawn of Christianity. The Myths and Legends Gallery brings vibrant tales of long ago to life at the touch of a button - explore the origins of ancient traditions and here local legends of kelpies, giants and the stones. Changing Landscapes allows you to explore scenarios for past and future landscapes with our hi-tech computer simulation.

The ArchaeoQuest is an absolutely unique feature – a touchscreen computer system that allows visitors to access archaeological information on the prehistoric sites of NE Scotland. You can even print a customised map to take with you on your exploration of ancient sites.

The outside attractions include reconstructions of a Mesolithic Hunter/Gatherer encampment, Neolithic stone circle and henge monuments, a Bronze Age metal smith, a working Iron Age farm and a Roman Marching Camp. There are daily activities specific to each area and time period. Archaeolink is situated on the slopes of Berryhill, which is also home to a late Bronze Age/Early Iron Age house foundation and a small hillfort enclosure dating back 2000 years!
