The Myths and Legends Gallery brings vibrant tales of long ago to life at the touch of a button - explore the origins of ancient traditions and here local legends of kelpies, giants and the stones. The ArchaeoQuest is an absolutely unique feature – a touchscreen computer system that allows visitors to access archaeological information on the prehistoric sites of NE Scotland. You can even print a customised map to take with you on your exploration of ancient sites.
The outside attractions include reconstructions of a Mesolithic Hunter/Gatherer encampment, Neolithic stone circle and henge monuments, a Bronze Age metal smith, a working Iron Age farm and a Roman Marching Camp.
