The mighty medieval fortress of Alnwick Castle is one of Europe's finest. Set in a stunning landscape, this magical castle dominates the skyline and overlooks the historic market town of Alnwick.

Alnwick Castle is the second largest inhabited castle in England and fabulous home of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland whose family, the Percys have lived here since 1309.

    Daily 10.00am - 6.00pm. State Rooms 11.00am - 5.00pm (last admission 4.30pm).

    The Sanctuary at The Castle, Restaurant & Wine Bar open throughout the year for lunch and evening dining to Castle and non-Castle visitors. From 11.30am until late.

    Directions
    Follow signs for Alnwick Town Centre and park in the town close to the Castle's Main Entrance on Castle Square and Admissions Kiosk at Greenwell Lane.

    Alternatively follow signs for Alnwick Castle and Garden Car Park on Denwick Lane. Make your way past the garden's ticketing point to the Castle's Admissions Kiosk on Greenwell Lane.
